BrOkEn Chapter 2

It was a calm morning in the Zebakuta village. It was almost perfect with children running around happily. The village was decorated with mange different coloured gems and stone bricked pathways. The river that ran through it was flowing nicely leaving a nice sound of trickling water. Takada, a skinny young magician with deep blue eyes and dark grey hair, was helping with training a few young children throughout the day and helping out wherever it is needed. He smiled as he began to help teach a child how to use a few simple earth spells. The young boy had a large cheeky grin across his freckled face. His mother watched from aside and smiled as she saw her son finally beginning to grasp the spell. "You know you're too kind" Said a sly silky voice, a small grey tabby tom dropped from a large tree licking and flicking some of the leaves from his pelt. "You're too nice of the children Takada" said the cat again then shifted into a tall man, he was drop dead beautiful. His black hair was gelled back apart from two bits that sat on each side of his forehead nicely; his ice grey eyes were narrow and mean looking. He was a well known magician around the town. "I leave for what? 2 years come back and this is the mess you're in" he said with a calm cold voice. The man wore a dark red tux; Waist coat, jacket, shirt, dress pants and dress shoes the lot. He looked very well looked after apart from the large scar across his right cheek that went over the bridge of his nose and another that slid down over his right eye from his eyebrow to his lower cheek.  
Takada growled when he saw the man and sighed, "There is no shame in teaching children skills they will be using in the future." He paused for a moment and raised an eyebrow, "Is this why you came back Rythian? To insult me for becoming a mentor for those who shall need my knowledge?" He asked in a cold tone even though Rythian could crush him so quickly, Takada wasn't scared. No he felt no fear in speaking with this man.  "Not at all that's just a little on the side" Rythian explained and ran a hand through his spiky gelled back hair "I just thought I would come back for different scenery" The magician said then appeared behind Takada "And don't speak so coldly to your sensei or ill end you right here"
Takada smirked and turned, "No you wouldn't, and then all of that hard work would go to waste." He laughed, "Sorry that I'm not really doing much, it's just that today is a slow day."
"No day is a slow day, who the heck told you that expression? It's very dim witted" Rythian explained and looked at the kid who ran off quickly "Shall we catch a drink my treat of course, I wish to catch up" He had always been proud of Takada though he never showed it. The younger man nodded and watched the young boy run away, "Sure, seems as though I have nothing else to do now..." He said bluntly "Good come along" He said quietly and began walking his hands in his pockets; Rythian got stopped a few times while the two walked along the well lit street. Soon arriving at a small pub named 'Black Rose' "Ah good to know this place is still here" Rythian smiled then walked in. Takada rolled his eyes and then replied, "Well why wouldn't it? We try to keep a lot of our towns most known landmarks." He stated bluntly and sat down beside a window at a table for two, the light shinned in dimly.  Rythian glared and quickly swiped his hand hard across the back of Takada's head "You watch your mouth boy before i melt your lips together, you sure have grown a foul mouth" He growled and sat down, he ordered himself a glass of wine then looked at Takada. The new bar owner was a small fat man hair only sat around the sides of his head and there was something...something about him Rythian didn't like...
Takada blinked and growled, "Hey, I was just saying! I didn't mean it in a rude way what-so-ever!" He snapped and then shook his head, "Whatever...." The young man muttered and looked to the bar tender, "Hello sir, umm what would you recommend for me today?" The bartender thought then said "There's always the black rose special, it's a mix of herbs water and a fiery chilli but it is very nice. Though very hot" He said then looked at Rythian his eyes locked with the other for a moment. Rythian growled "I don't give a damn you don't speak out of turn like that to me...ever" Takada sighed, "I'm sorry, happy?" He said without looking over, "I'll take one of those sir." He responded to the bartender. The bartender nodded "Nice choice sir" He walked off and Rythian coughed "What do you mean I'm sorry, happy?" He asked scratching the back of his neck. He grumbled and sighed "Look this is serious okay there are some things I need to inform you about Takada" Takada raised an eyebrow and turned a bit, "Well go on tell me" He asked calmly.
"The prince...he's been murdered" He whispered looking at Takada with a serious look on his face Takada widened his eyes and he almost stood straight up out of his seat, "What do you mean?! How! I thought we had him heavily guarded!" He said in a sharp whisper. Rythian pulled Takada down "He ran off after a Shinsotenma when i found him he was torn apart, work of the kilterugeta spell I believe though I wouldn't have taught you that" Takada shook his head, "Damn it... Well who would have known that spell?" He asked immediately. "I know a guy, though we made a pack not to teach anyone it. It's a extremely unstable spell and heck even I'm scared to use it" Rythian said and paid the bartender when he walked over placing the drinks down. The male watched then looked at the liquid and after a few moments stood up sharply "Stop right there" he said looking at the bartender, Takada raised an eyebrow and looked to the bartender and then back to his mentor, "Why what's wrong?" He asks bluntly as he picked up the drink. Rythian smirked and a palm sized ball of black and red energy formed in his hand, and he quickly flung it at the bar tender "Show yourself" he growled
